Upcoming Events:  The school BBQ is being planned for July 12.  I hope that everyone is able to make it!

Last weekend my instructor Roy Harris was in town and taught a 2-day BJJ seminar.   There was a great turnout and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive about the detail and thoroughness of his teaching.  Thank you to everyone who attended!

Congratulations to Dave Arnold on his performance last month in the NYS Grappling Championships.  In his advanced division debut, while fending off a serious cold, he still battled to earn 3rd place in the no-gi advanced 190lb division!

Corrected my errors.  Congratulations to Dave Arnold, Marc Yates, and Jason Wawro on their recent performance in the Arnold Grappling Championships.  They all took home some hardware!  Jason earned 3rd place in the  no-gi beginner (< 2 years) heavyweight division.  Dave earned 3rd place in the blue-belt gi middleweight division.  Marc earned 3rd place in the advanced no-gi heavyweight division.  Awesome job by everyone!
